What is StripPlayer? StripPlayer is an advertising supported executable program that is usually installed without user consent or knowledge. StripPlayer may display advertisements in various forms including Pop-up Ads, Pop-Under Ads, Button Links, Taskbar Bubbles, and/or other forms. StripPlayer may cause a slow internet connection as well due to the increased usage of bandwidth. Replication is not common with StripPlayer. It is highly recommended that you remove StripPlayer. How did I get StripPlayer? Most likely, StripPlayer was bundled or integrated with a desired program. The EULA, or End User License Agreement of the desired program possibly stated that StripPlayer would be installed and that StripPlayer would display advertisements regularly. Other distribution tactics of StripPlayer include browser vulnerabilities, deceptive Pop-up boxes designed to appear as legitimate Windows dialog boxes, and/or drive-by downloads. How do I remove StripPlayer? More than likely, StripPlayer has thoroughly embedded itself in your system making it very difficult to remove manually.
