What is Pugi? Pugi is an advertising supported executable program that is usually installed without user consent or knowledge. Pugi may display advertisements in various forms including Pop-up Ads, Pop-Under Ads, Button Links, Taskbar Bubbles, and/or other forms. Pugi may cause a slow internet connection as well due to the increased usage of bandwidth. Replication is not common with Pugi. It is highly recommended that you remove Pugi. How did I get Pugi? Most likely, Pugi was bundled or integrated with a desired program. The EULA, or End User License Agreement of the desired program possibly stated that Pugi would be installed and that Pugi would display advertisements regularly. Other distribution tactics of Pugi include browser vulnerabilities, deceptive Pop-up boxes designed to appear as legitimate Windows dialog boxes, and/or drive-by downloads. How do I remove Pugi? More than likely, Pugi has thoroughly embedded itself in your system making it very difficult to remove manually.
