What is BDE?
BDE is an advertising supported executable program that is usually installed without user consent or knowledge. BDE may display advertisements in various forms including Pop-up Ads, Pop-Under Ads, Button Links, Taskbar Bubbles, and/or other forms. BDE may cause a slow internet connection as well due to the increased usage of bandwidth. Replication is not common with BDE. It is highly recommended that you remove BDE. How did I get BDE?
Most likely, BDE was bundled or integrated with a desired program. The EULA, or End User License Agreement of the desired program possibly stated that BDE would be installed and that BDE would display advertisements regularly. Other distribution tactics of BDE include browser vulnerabilities, deceptive Pop-up boxes designed to appear as legitimate Windows dialog boxes, and/or drive-by downloads. How do I remove BDE?
