What is ASpam?
ASpam is an advertising supported executable program that is usually installed without user consent or knowledge. ASpam may display advertisements in various forms including Pop-up Ads, Pop-Under Ads, Button Links, Taskbar Bubbles, and/or other forms. ASpam may cause a slow internet connection as well due to the increased usage of bandwidth. Replication is not common with ASpam. It is highly recommended that you remove ASpam.

How did I get ASpam?
Most likely, ASpam was bundled or integrated with a desired program. The EULA, or End User License Agreement of the desired program possibly stated that ASpam would be installed and that ASpam would display advertisements regularly. Other distribution tactics of ASpam include browser vulnerabilities, deceptive Pop-up boxes designed to appear as legitimate Windows dialog boxes, and/or drive-by downloads.

How do I remove ASpam?
More than likely, ASpam has thoroughly embedded itself in your system making it very difficult to remove manually. Fortunately, there are plenty of Anti-Adware and Anti-Spyware solutions ready to do the work for you. And, although we can not speak to the effectiveness of all of the software listed at InternetSecurityZone.com, we can, and most certainly do, recommend STOPzilla.
