(AKA: Spyware Killer)

A Spyware Remover removes Spyware on an infected PC and prevents re-infection. To be truly effective against Spyware, a Spyware Remover must take action against known and potential threats.

  • Spyware Blocking: Spyware must be prevented from accessing the user's data files.
  • Spyware Quarantine: Spyware must be safely quarantined until the user decides whether or not to remove it.
  • Spyware Removal: A Spyware Remover must be able to remove all files that comprise malicious programs.
  • Kills the latest threats: A Spyware Remover must be updated frequently with the latest definitions needed to target (kill) even the latest permutations of Spyware.
  • Highly automated, intelligent research component: Optimally, researchers find new Spyware and develop the definitions to kill it before it infects users.
