Restore Point

System Restore is a Windows XP Professional feature. If a problem occurs, it restores a computer to a previous state without losing the user's personal data files, e-mail or settings. System Restore monitors changes to the system and some application files, and automatically creates easily identified Restore Points which enable the user to revert the system to a date of choice. Restore Points are created daily and at the time of significant system events, such as installations. Users can create Restore Points manually at any time.
