Polymorphic Malware

Polymorphic Malware is malicious software that has the ability to change its signature randomly each time it replicates. This is a technique that the makers of Malware use to prevent detection of these applications by anti-Spyware programs designed to "recognize" Malware by its signature (name). For example, a polymorphic file could look like this: Vx2T.exe.

With Polymorphic Malware, only the appearance of the code is altered, not the function.
