What is an IS3 Threat Level? The IS3 Threat Level displays the safety classification of an Entity listed in an indexes resultset. Current IS3 Threat Levels include:- IN REVIEW - this IS3 Entity has not yet been classified and is currently under review. Until more is known about this entity, removal is not recommended. (NOTE: In the FULL UI, "IN REVIEW" is represented by a yellow shield icon.)
- SAFE - this IS3 Entity has been classified as Safe. This IS3 Entity should not be removed from your system. (NOTE: In the FULL UI, "SAFE" is represented by a green shield icon.)
- UNSAFE - this IS3 Entity has been classified as Unsafe. This IS3 Entity should immediately be removed from your system. (NOTE: In the FULL UI, "UNSAFE" is represented by a red shield icon.)
If the Entity I'm viewing is classified as UNSAFE, how do I remove it? If the Entity you're researching is present on your machine and is classified as UNSAFE, more than likely, it has thoroughly embedded itself in your system making it very difficult to remove manually. Fortunately, there are plenty of Anti-Spyware solutions ready to do the work for you. And, although we can not speak to the effectiveness of all of the software listed at InternetSecurityZone.com, we can, and most certainly do, recommend STOPzilla.
