History

The Web History folder is a running compilation of Web sites previously visited by a browser.

History folder settings allow users to specify how many days the browser shall maintain a user's surfing History. Users also have the option to clear their Web History as frequently as needed. This is a privacy feature.

The purpose of the History is to help users easily relocate previously viewed Web sites without needing to recall the URL.

The user need only recall the few first letters of the URL, and the browser supplies probable matches from the History log.
